First load of washing dried in mo time so the next load is in and will be hung on the line.
Just been to the farm shop to stock up and get some bbq stuff. It's never a cheap visit but it is good stuff.
The dog did not want to go to the groomers and had to be carried in. Just waiting for the call to go and pick him up now.
The other half is easily pleased. He will have a good day whatever we do 🤣🤣🤣2 -

Not a no spends day today but it should be low spends. We are going to get the car washed at the garden centre and will call in for a coffee while we are there.
Breakfast is a bacon and egg sandwich and dinner later is roast chicken and all the trimmings.
The other half is going to tidy up the gardens today and my job for today is cleaning out the van ready for next weekends outing. It shouldn't take too long.1 -
Forgot to say we were sad to see our local pub pretty empty yesterday. It is a big pub and will have big running costs. It probably wasn't worth it being open.
I hope it manages to weather these tough times because it is a good pub despite being a chain pub.1 -
What a shame about the pub. Our local is the same. A knock on effect of the cost of living crisis is going out for drinks/food will be one of the first things people cut out.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

It's been a busy day today. Only just sat down for a drink!
We went to the garden centre this morning which was scarily quiet. It is usually packed on a Sunday. Got the car washed, picked up a couple of herb plants cheap and got a bag of the dogs food cheaper than the supermarket and had a free coffee so a successful trip.
We took the dog for a walk at a local nature reserve on the way home. He loved it.
When we got back I tackled cleaning the van while the other half started on the gardens.
Doing a bit of gardening lead to cleaning the front door surround, cleaning the stone window ledges, and cleaning the garage soffits.
On the plus side it does look like someone lives here and cares now. It was looking a bit shabby on the front 🤣🤣🤣
The herbs are now planted and hung on the garage. Will try not to kill this lot. I think they get a bit hot sat in the sun all day. Good job they are cheap 🤔2 -
