Our last full day here today.
The wind has really got up overnight. Glad we decided to pack our outside gear up and get the bunting off the van last night. Don't think it would have been here this morning if not!
We are heading over the river on the little foot ferry this morning after breakfast, assuming it is running, to the next village and will then walk back the long way round. Planning to grab fish and chips on the harbour on the way back.
It is definitely pie tonight. Its forecast to be too cool and breezy to cook anything outside.

The dog looks like he’s living his best life on that beautiful beach. Enjoy your day, fish and chips on the harbour sounds idyllic.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Time to head home today. The weather has taken a turn for the worse. It is very windy with heavy rain.
We will have a couple of cups of coffee and some scrambled eggs on toast before setting off on the long journey home.
We plan to stop for lunch somewhere on the way back and I think we are having a takeaway curry for dinner tonight to save ne cooking anything.
We are not out in the van next week so we will just chuck it in the drive when we get home. Cleaning it can wait until next weekend.2 -
The weather is horrendous here too. Safe journey home.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

The journey home was uneventful and the sat nav avoided the traffic for us. It took us a way we have not been before.
Finding dinner was a nightmare. The A14 seems to be devoid of services 🤣🤣🤣
We have ordered the curry for delivery later. Absolutely shocked by how much their prices have gone up. We certainly won't be having it on a regular basis. Almost £30 for the two of us and we have not gone mad. We are sharing a starter, rice and naan bread 😲
We have a load of washing in which will be finished and hopefully dry in an hour or so.
The house was absolutely freezing when we got home so we have stuck the heating on to warm it through. We would be better off back in the van. It was toasty warm in there!
The dog is knackered. He is currently curled up snoring in his kitchen bed. He won't be much trouble now.2 -
£30 for a takeaway 😱 You could’ve gone to the pub for that. We haven’t had a takeaway for years and won’t be again if that’s how much they charge. Don’t they realise they’re pricing themselves out of business.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Fantastic photos as always. Definitely makes me want to get well enough to drive again and take my family to see more of the uk though came back to a bit of a shock with the weather fml really not been nice today. We too had an Indian takeaway this evening though it was £12: shared a vegetable curry, rice and onion bhaji between us.2

£150 sent to Card 5 today.
Not a no spends day. I have had to go and pick some vegetables up this morning. The fridge was looking very bare on the greenery front.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was scrambled eggs on toast, we have both taken our packed lunches tonight and dinner tonight is smoked haddock and leek bake with vegetables. The haddock we bought in Southwold from the fishmongers on the harbour front.
Tonight's jobs are:- load of washing
- walking the dog
- wrapping the other half's birthday present
- writing birthday cards
- starting to wrap some Christmas presents while I have the stuff out
