Sun_Addict said:Another one bites the dust! Can't have you running out of rum and gin 😆 I wish I'd realised just how many litres of spirits you can bring back from the EU now we're out of it - 9 litres each at £12 a litre for most spirits. I only brought 1 back.
From gov website:Alcohol allowance
How much you can bring depends on the type of alcohol. You can bring in:
- beer - 42 litres
- wine (still) - 18 litres
You can also bring in either:
- spirits and other liquors over 22% alcohol - 4 litres
- sparkling wine, fortified wine (for example port, sherry) and other alcoholic drinks up to 22% alcohol (not including beer or still wine) - 9 litres
You can split this last allowance, for example you could bring 4.5 litres of fortified wine and 2 litres of spirits (both half of your allowance).

Well done

Shame the car let us down when it did. It would have been nice to clear that account in the next month or so as well. Oh well. We will keep plugging away at it.0 -
You’re doing really well with the finances despite the unexpected happening with your car 👏👏👏
Have a great time in Milo 👍 We’re going to dds but leaving Millie at home…..then heading out in Millie on Wednesday when all the crowds have finished 😉 that’s the theory anyway. Then the following week having a night at Piebold en route to a few days by the coast….looking forward to it as I’ve heard good reports 😁👍January spends - £587.581 -
The Piebald is amazing. We are really looking forward to going again in July.1

It will be a no spends day today. Number 1 for June.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is the lasagne that I made last night.
We are out in the van tonight. We will get home, take the dog for a quick walk, grab a quick shower and then set off. We reckon it is about an hour and a half ish drive to where we plan to stop tonight assuming decent traffic, maybe a bit longer if people are all setting off after work tonight on their holidays.
There will be nothing to spend money on when we get there so it will be a couple of quiet beers by the river, eating some fine food and walking the dog by the river. A nice chilled evening hopefully.1 -

Free overnight stop tonight but then we are on a site for 3 nights.
Most expensive site we have stayed on at £41 per night but it will be a damn sight cheaper than any of the accommodation in the town that's for sure!!1 -

We have been amazed how light the traffic had been tonight. We got here far quicker than expected.
We have got the car park We wanted to ourselves as well which we really didn't expect. Surprisingly the A17 behind us isn't as noisy as we expected either. This is a good find of a spot and it looks like we are going to be in for a cracking sunset.
Just waiting for it now.
