Oh how I wish I could lie in bed listening to the dog snore. Unfortunately our Collie is up with the lark (c 6am) putting his paws on the bed and making the jack russel who sleeps there growl at him. This goes on until I get up, then he rushes downstairs shouting to me while I get dressed. The Jack usually stays in bed for a bit but our staffie X wanders around until I go down to get them all breakfast. No rest in our house first thing. I wouldnt mind quite so much but as soon their breakfast and walk is over they all retire back to bed!

Looks like December will be the same if we are to be in Tier 3.
The spare money is going to be put in the savings account and we should have enough for the garden shed come spring 😀2 -
Clyde has settled in.

Decs look absolutely brilliant @RelievedSheff inside and out. We’ve had no new decs this year, wife goes absolutely mad for them most years, gives away old decs and goes for new colour scheme but not this year for obvious reasons. Tbh made no difference so apart from £95 on the tree no spends for us.
Fantastic news on the debt/ money left at the end of the month.
My dog is an early riser too not that I am. Wife usually sends him upstairs to wake me up lol.
You must be about my age from your other post, thought you were probably about my wife’s age. I have a member of staff who’s worked for me more or less from 5 months into me starting the business. 14 years now, never thought I’d get to ‘that’ age of saying this but time flys lol.4 -
I'm 36 so not too far behind you
It is payday today. Not a no spends day though. I have ordered the aggregate for the garden that will be getting delivered on Wednesday all being well.
Other than that it will be a no spends day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, lunch is going to be jacket potato with chilli and cheese and dinner tonight is peri peri chicken with rice and roasted vegetables.
Today's jobs include:- working from home
- load of washing
- vacuuming the house
- walking the dog x 2
The spare money from this months budget has gone into the savings account so that is looking a bit more healthy now.4 -
@RelievedSheff did you start out as a school leaver and do degree apprenticeship route then? I’ve got a lad doing similar in my business, mature beyond his years def more mature than me haha. 20 now and he’s not long bought his first flat, not bothered about cars, got a gf who pays for herself doing similar in accountancy. 100 will go far probably use me for apc then set up lol.
No rest for your OH eh? 😆3 -
Yes, I went down the part time study route paid for by my employer. 4 days at work and 1 day at college and then uni. Hard work juggling a job and studying.
No rest for the other half at all. I have told him it isn't a holiday. He is digging the garden tomorrow.4
