  • I think it is more common to see women in engineering jobs these days which is nice.  My DH was an engineer (electronic not civil) and more women were starting to be recruited as engineers. Part of my role in a University was to encourage women into STEM subjects.  Times have changed since I was at school thankfully and lots more opportunities and encouragement for women to do traditionally male jobs  :D

Don’t let OH slack while he’s off, keep him busy 😂 Nice to have left over money in the budget for savings.

I reckon we could have enough for the shed by the end of December if we are fairly careful this month.

The benefits of the garage freezer are showing now as our monthly shopping bills have reduced.

We will of course have to restock it at some point but this time we can spread it out over a couple of months rather than having to do it all at once!

You’re keeping him busy 😆 Our dog loves pottering in the garden supervising work.

I like my steak very rare. Cut it's horns off and wipe it's a""e rare  :D

Got nothing down for an overdone steak. These are nice lumps of cow we have tonight as well. Definitely not going to be overdone.

In some ways it would have been easier to go down the uni route. But I would still be paying the student debt off now had I chosen that route.

You wife sounds like she is really liking this extra family time you are making.

Not long at all. The first card will be paid off next Monday and then the second card will be paid off a couple of months after that.

Both accounts will be closed when they are paid off.
