I pay £47.50 a month with Severn Trent. They've installed the facilities to change to a water meter but we don't have to change. I'm convinced I'd be worse off if we went  to metered though as there are 3 adults in our house and I like a bath every night, not giving that up it's my sanctuary at the end of the working day. Well done for reducing yours down, it all helps.

The snow is just starting to settle in the garden, not covering the roads yet though. Just spoke to the other half and he is almost finished at the boat, he is just running the diesel heater to get some fresh diesel through it and warm the boat through a little then he is coming back. All seems to be fine. Think we are going to try and get a trip out on it before Christmas if we can. It hasn't moved since we got back from our two week break on it in October!

I'm looking forward to my fish and chips. Not quite the same without the beach and the sea but our local chippy does alright fish and chips and are good value for money as well. Fish, chips and peas for £4 at lunchtime.

Hope you enjoyed fish and chips lunch. Definitely not the same as by the coast but need to make the most of it in tier 3 lol. Glad to hear boat ok.

Snow had settled a bit in Mansfield area earlier, probably a fair bit your way?

Lunch was lovely. We all enjoyed it.

The snow didn't really settle here. All gone now and just cold rain again now.

It will be a low spend day today.

We need to go to the farm shop for fruit and vegetables. We are also going to Moles to try and find a winter jacket for the dog.

Breakfast is from stores today. Full English of course as its the weekend but we are treating ourselves to a take out curry tonight for dinner. Not had one for ages.

Not sure what else we will do today. We need to take the dog for a walk somewhere but the weather looks rubbish for today 🙄

Very little planned here apart from cinema. Used to love weekends in my 20s out everyday Friday/ Saturday night now just dread it feeling obliged not to work much but not much to do.

The weather is really getting me down at the moment. Seems like it’s dark all day. Could do with getting on a plane for a bit of sun five days or so lol.

Good luck with the dog coat hunt. I have 3 dogs one wont wera a coat at all and freaks if you try to put one on, one will just stand and look totally miserable when wearing one and our border collie has such a thick coat I think he would overheat even in cold weather  as he is quite active to say the least. The JRT who hates them is actually a cross (we suspect with a dachshund as she is longer than a JRT)  so is really hard to buy for which is why we have given up.
