Hope mine is too! The stew is cooked and looks really good. I hadn't planned on buying it so it isn't actually on the menu plan but think we'll probably have some of it tomorrow night!
I've got some goat out of the freezer to make a curry tomorrow but we won't have that until Thursday as I think it's better reheated!

I think a lot of people will be looking at the cheaper cuts of meat now to try and cut costs. Although I don't eat meat myself, I buy it for Mr SA, I tend to buy what's on offer, most of them go in the slow cooker as he has problems with using a knife, so I can get away with cheaper cuts.
You're doing well with the no spend days, I'm only on 3.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
Cheaper cuts and slow cookers are definitely the way to go. I’ve got an assortment of odds and ends of home made ready meals in the freezer. I’m on a mission to use them up so I can have a big cook off and portion some more up.January spends - £587.582

We do tend to use the slow cooker quite a lot. I call it lazy cooking because I don't have to do much when I get home from work

The weather was lovely at lunchtime when I took the dog for a walk. The park looked really nice in the sunshine. Syd found some flowers he was interested in.

The other half randomly declared he fancied going to Woodhall Spa at the weekend. So I have booked us onto the Aire there for Saturday night. Its cheap enough at £12.50 for the night including electric.
Not been for ages. We used to go when we were down that way on the boat.2 -
