£2/l I think may well be the case some point soon unfortunately. Tbh I use less petrol these days than accounted for but that's only because we've got the EQC. You need an electric van haha.1 -

It will be a no spends day today. Number 5 for March.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is a slow cooked lamb casserole with Yorkshire pudding made with some lamb neck we picked up cheap from the butchers at the weekend.

There must be an excess of lamb neck at the moment as my butchers is selling it off at £1.99/lb - not seen it that price for a very long time so going to pick some up today when I go out shopping. Just hope there's some left and not all sold over the weekend!

I love lamb neck but rarely see it that sensibly priced down here sadly! I do have some on-the-bone pieces in the freezer which are going to make a stew at some stage though!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

The neck in the slow cooker is on the bone. It must have been popular because we took the last two pieces!
The cheaper cuts seem to be making a come back at the butchers and farm shops that we use.2 -
Well I got some lamb neck and it now in the casserole dish on the BBQ with a ton of veg! Should be a good few meals to go in the freezer once it's cooked and cooled!2

The lamb neck was delicious.1
