Good to hear from you Alt.

To be honest I doubt the council tax rebate is going to make much if any difference to most people. Broken down per month it will hardly make a dent in the rising cost of living.

It might cover some of the increase!

Had a nightmare getting parked up tonight. Where we had intended to park high up in the Peaks it was heavily snowing so we have headed back down a little below the snow line and back into Sheffield.

We have ended up parked tucked away on a quiet back road in a very posh area of Sheffield. I have told the other half to make the most of tonight because it is the closest we will ever get to living here 🤣🤣🤣

On the plus side we have some lovely walks for the dog in the morning from here in some very nice public gardens.

With a bit of luck the weather will improve tomorrow as we are meeting family. Although we are not where we planned to be it thankfully isn't far from here anyway where we are heading tomorrow.

Snow 😱 I do know what it’s like in the Peak District for snow, have some colleagues who live there. Enjoy your night in the posh area 😆

We had a lovely peaceful night last night. There was an owl very close by. We did get woken by some young lads in a loud car at 5.30am. Dog obviously didn't see them as a threat he carried on snoring. Some guard dog we have 🤣🤣🤣

They soon left and we went back to sleep at 6am and have just woken up again. Will actually get up soon I think.

It will be a spendy day today. We are meeting family at a pub in Derbyshire for some drinks and a meal. We are staying in the pub car park overnight.

We are having breakfast on the van though. Full English this morning.

The dog will get a fair bit of walking today. We have the lovely gardens here and some lovely walks in the village where the pub is.

It should be a good day.

We had a lovely day yesterday. The weather was awful and we all got soaked on our walk but once we were back, showered and changed we soon warmed up again.

It wasn't a massively spendy day. We ended up having some drinks on the van first before we headed into the pub.

This morning we are going to have breakfast with family shortly before we headback home. We need to call to the farm shop on the way back so it won't be a no spends day again.

Roast pork dinner later with all the trimmings. We need to take the dog out for a walk as well but the weather sounds awful again and he isn't overly enthusiastic about getting out of bed just yet.

Great photos as always. Weather is dire here at the moment and looking at the forecast it’s going to rain all day ☔️  Have a lovely day despite the weather.
