Hope the burger was ok and you’ll love York. We had an amazing time there last year.

    Have a good one mate.

The burger was spot on thanks. We both really enjoyed it.

Just setting off for York now. Dog is super excited to be getting in the van. It's worse than having a child in tow 😮‍💨

It will be a spendy day today,  another day in York.

We had a lovely day yesterday. Today's plan is for lots of walking. It's very windy right now. It isn't forecast to die down until later this evening so it will be a blustery day of walking today.

The dog looks worn out 😆 Walked a fair few miles around York myself, enjoy.

  • I love York! I was always fascinated by the museum with the cobbled street in it when I was little.  Your dog is definitely in his happy place 🥰

York has been super busy today. It was full to the rafters.

We did manage to see the sights and grab a couple of drinks but we decided to head back towards the van and the local pub here which is a bit quieter. Town was getting a bit full of drunk idiots already.

We had planned to get a takeaway tonight but the place we had to get a Thai takeaway is ridiculously expensive so we have said !!!!!! that. I will cook a pasta bake and some garlic bread on the van instead.

So not such a spendy day after all. Probably about £35 all in.

Unfortunately we have to head home today. We are calling in at a friend's on the way back.

It should be a no spends day today.

We will have breakfast here on the van before we set off and take the dog for a walk in the park next door.

It has been a brilliant weekend. Looking forward to getting out again for a couple of nights in the Peak District next weekend now.
