Happy birthday @RelievedSheff I hope you’re not the one cooking tonight and hope you have a nice break in the van
I wouldn't normally be the one doing the cooking on my birthday but I am going to do it tonight while the other half is walking the dog after work.

We are going to the local pub after work tomorrow evening to take advantage of their excellent burger deal and use up another pub token :D

Happy birthday RS.  Enjoy your burger tomorrow and your weekend away.

  • Happy birthday RS - and enjoy the slightly belated birthday meal out tomorrow too!

I think there was some advice a while ago about how soon it's worth getting back into your regular LFT routine after a previous infection - I know they say that PCR tests can still show positive for several months though!

Thank you everyone for your birthday wishes. Much appreciated.

I have finished my last day of working from home now. I will load my computer and monitors into the car while the other half is walking the dog when he gets back. Back to the office tomorrow.

It will feel strange being my first day out of the house for a while and going straight back to an office environment.

Mind you I don't expect it will feel too busy in the office with the amount of people who have left 😲

It should be no spends day 18 of January today.

Breakfast and lunch are from stores. It was toast for breakfast and we have both taken our packed lunches to work. We are off to the local pub tonight for their BOGOF burger deal and a couple of drinks but we have some pub tokens which will cover that.

First day back in the office.
  • I bet it will feel a bit strange being out and amongst people again after your 10 days.  Hope your meal is nice tonight, can't beat a good BOGOF meal deal!

It does feel strange being out and about again.

Just getting used to the background noise of being in the office again. It was almost silent at home :)

£150 paid to card 4 today.

It will be spendy today. Breakfast is from stores but that will probably be it today.

We head off to York later. Can't get on the site while after midday so no need to rush around this morning. We need to get the van loaded up and fill the water tank and bleed the system through. Will take the dog for a walk as well.
