It’s that feeling of accomplishing something, it feels good. It’s very mild today, it was the same yesterday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

We have been with Virgin for years but would have to say that contacting them requires astronomical amounts of patience on the odd occasion we have needed to phone them. They are worse since Covid though. I think we just cant face the upheaval of cancelling and going with someone new and they also do the fastest BB speeds around here as they use cable rather than the BT network as BT and sky do. It is the only utility I am not that MSE conscious with as the time spent changing is too off putting. We also know people who have had bad service from BT and Sky so not sure any of them that brilliant.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I'm happy to stay with them and lesson learned for next time when our contract runs out in 24 months. Ring BT first.0 -
@RelievedSheff - before ringing BT when the contract runs out get a lower quote from another company first so that you've got something to bargain with.1

Thanks so much for the broadbank prompt.
My contract is about to renew so I have dealt with it.

I woke up in the night with a terrible toothache. One of my bottom wisdom teeth has started moving again, I would have thought they might have finished by now, and it is pushing all of the teeth on that side of my lower jaw together. I have just taken some ibuprofen to hopefully reduce the swelling in the gum and relieve some of the pressure on my teeth. Fingers crossed they kick in before too much longer.1 -
I hate having toothache. Hope the painkillers do the trick.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Toothache has been a lot better with the ibuprofen thanks. I will keep dosed up for a couple of days and let everything settle down again.
Completely forgot that we had a professional photographer in the office today. Have spent most of the morning having group photos and really fake office "action" shots being taken. It cheered us all up I suppose.
