We were with VMedia some years ago - we had a period of time where works were being done to the building and our Sky dish had to come down, so we switched to VMedia. We were with them precisely 12 months - and literally couldn’t wait to escape at the earliest point we could - truly the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I think you may have had a lucky escape!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

One good bit of news today. We have managed to book a new campsite for New Year's at a fraction of the price of the one that has cancelled on us.
It looks like a nice small site with 6 pitches on a working farm with a lovely Norfolk village just up the road and about a half hour walk into Wells next the Sea.

Glad you're sorted; sounds ideal and not far from where you want to be.

So annoying when companies are happy to take money but make it difficult to cancel 😡
The cheaper campsite sounds brilliant for you 👍January spends - £587.581 -
No spends day today.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is a simple spag bol with garlic bread.
Todays jobs are:- load of washing (should be dry when we get home)
- cleaning the kitchen
- walking the dog

The threat of an official complaint worked and the Virgin account is now cancelled. I felt really sorry for the lady who answered the phone because she got both barrels and it wasn't her fault. I did apologise at the end of the call. But it worked and it only took a 5 minute call today.
Did start to wonder if the £408 saving over two years was worth the hassle at one point last night!
Now it's (hopefully) sorted out I do of course think that the saving is worth it.1 -
Refund sorted for the cancelled campsite.
It's been a productive morning so far0 -

It is amazing how a couple of five minute phone calls can lighten a mood. I was really not looking forward to phoning Virgin or the campsite this morning as I was expecting both calls to be hassle but in the end it was all sorted quite quickly. I've been in a much better mood today since.
Just got back to the office after taking the dog for a lunchtime walk around the local park. (I do this on days when the receptionist isn't at the garage where the other half works and the dog would otherwise be in the office on his own for most of the day) It was a lovely day for it. Quite mild and the park was really quite quiet for a change.
Hopefully this weather will stick around for the weekend. We are out on the van again on Saturday.2
