It has been a productive day today. Got the insurance sorted, picked a few bits up from Wilkos for the van, had a mini stock up shop from one of the farm shops (not got fruit and veg though), gave the fridge in the van a thorough clean and polished off some marks in there, had a pre winter tidy up in the garden, took the garden waste to the tip, walked the dog and grabbed a quick pint on the way home.
We have salvaged the last of the beetroot and the carrots from the garden. Should keep us going for a few weeks.

Lovely canal walk. My workplace is on the banks of a canal, I enjoy walking along the towpath and seeing the seasons change. You’ve certainly got a lot done today.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

It has been a busy day but it has also been an enjoyable day at the same time. Plenty of laughs and giggles along the way, like the dog following the other half around the garden inspecting every hole in the lawn where the other half had pulled a weed out, or the dogs look of pure horror when the other half too the hedge trimmers to the lavender hedge 🤣🤣🤣
We now have lavender flowers in pretty much every room of the house. Good job we like the smell of it.
Just chilling out now before we pop across the drive to next doors for the evening.
The dog has just had a big belly full of plain pasta and is now sound asleep so we are hoping he will sleep through tonight's fireworks when he goes next door. The groomer gave us the pasta trick and it did work last year but unfortunately we were too late home yesterday to give him some before the fireworks had started.2 -
It's a good job we got a lot done yesterday. Can't see much getting done today. We are both feeling a little delicate today after a night at the neighbours 🤣🤣🤣0

It's been a bit of a wasted day today to be honest. We had a walk in the local woods this morning with the dog and then took the car for a wash at the garden centre and had a coffee.
When we got back home I had an hour in bed. I do feel better for it though.
Slow roasted goat shoulder has been in the oven about an hour. It needs another couple of hours yet.
On the plus side it has been a cheap day. Only spend was £6 to get the car washed. The coffee's were free 😀
Couldn't face going to the shops today so that is a job for tomorrow night after work.2 -
Looks like a happy dog 😂😂January spends - £587.581
