Presumably once the cards are done you'll start putting a good chunk of the money that was going to the payments to those aside as a long term EF/new car fund? It would also potentially give you some leverage to manually adjust your LTV if needed to get a better rate - something that may well be needed by that stage I suspect.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I don't think we will have any issues with the mortgage LTV when remortgage time comes around. If house prices stay similar to now we will be below 50% LTV when remortgage time comes round.1 -

Not a no spends day today. We have had to fill the car up with diesel.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores though. Breakfast was cereals, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is a pizza on the sofa with a few beers watching a film or two.
We blitzed the house cleaning last night so that we don't really have anything to do tonight when we get home. Just got a load of washing in the machine which should be washed and dried when we get home so it will just want putting away.
We expect the dog will have a bad night tonight with the fireworks. It hasn't been bad at all where we are so far, we had expected more fireworks this last week. Fingers crossed it will just be tonight and tomorrow night that are bad nights for him.1 -
It's been very quiet here too. This is the first year we haven't had fireworks in the month beforehand! The local pub usually puts on a display on the nearest weekend so suspect it will do that again tomorrow night!

Great news that all the cards are now on 0% and the end in sight for car loan and the next credit card. Just the two bigger card balances and the motor home then. You will have more scope next year for saving for vehicle costs plus whatever. Having a plan and sticking to it worked for you even with a motor home purchase.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I’ve seen it mentioned elsewhere that there’s a special pet calming mix on Classic FM for bonfire night. It might be worth a try having the radio on in the background if he’s in his basket in a different room.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

We will turn our film up a bit to try and mask out the fireworks.0 -

Looking forward to February when the next balance is cleared and then not long to April for the card to be cleared as well. Little moral boosts along the way I like to see them as.
Time to attack Card 6 then. It won't be cleared before the 0% runs out in August but we will find another 0% deal to switch too and then get that cleared as quickly as we feel necessary. It would be nice to have that cleared in 18 months say.1
