Just catching up - you are doing brilliantly with the debts, as you say a lot has changed over the past 12 months for you, absolutely smashing it now though, well done.

Looks like a good weekend too.

Not a no spends day today. I need to go to the shops tonight after work to do the shopping that I should have done yesterday.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. It was toast for breakfast, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is goat curry with rice and samosas.

    Todays jobs are:
    • supermarket shop
    • vacuuming the house
    • walking the dog

I misread one of RS's posts in exactly the same way a few weeks ago! We have indeed had dogs in the past that were quite happy to be vacuumed at moulting time - it definitely cuts out a middle-man by preventing the hair reaching the carpets in the first place!

Goat curry will be lovely - I think it's a really under-rated meat!

The dog is daft enough to be vacuumed. Luckily he isn't a shedder though, although it does mean he has to go and be clipped at the groomers every 8 weeks instead.

Fantastic @RelievedSheff another little win there.

Vacuuming the dog fml I wish our golden would stand being vacuumed haha. Though I'm sure there was a dog attachment on the old style dyson vacuum we had.

Not a no spends day today. Had to go and buy the dog a new lead this morning, found his had started fraying last night.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores though. Breakfast was crumpets, we have both taken our packed lunches to work and dinner tonight is grilled salmon with vegetable rice and steamed vegetables.

    Today's jobs are:
    • vacuuming the house (didn't get done last night)
    • vacuuming the van
    • cleaning the kitchen
    • walking the dog

I'm liking the little wins at the minute.

Had another small win with the breakdown cover for the car. The car insurers wanted £75 so we told them no and got quotes elsewhere. Got it for £33 with 2gether. We used them with my old Nissan, only had to call them once and they were there in half an hour which is fine by us.

Today's little task is to look into changing our broadband supplier. BT have put their prices up again and it is now £40 per month which we think is way too much for what we are using it. I'm going to get a few quotes online and then ring BT to see if they will price match, if not we will cancel with BT and go elsewhere.

Every little saving helps at the minute with the way prices are rising on fuel bills, energy bills, food bills etc,
