No we have a half tank in the van which will in theory get us to our first destination. 

We have 6 or 7 petrol stations near our house so I am sure we will find some diesel at one of them. Failing that we will find some on our way up the A1.

We've came back yesterday from a few days away in the van and stopped at our local Mr Ms on the way home and filled up with diesel and gas so we'll be ready for when we next get away.

We are full of gas, we just need some diesel. Not worried about it we will find some somewhere in the morning.

We will just set off as planned in the morning and there are a few petrol stations within a few hundred metres of the McDonalds we are stopping at for breakfast so we will get some diesel at one of them I'm sure.

I've just  been round town and there are queues at every petrol station, Morrisons were right to the bottom of the car park and Sainsburys were having a fuel delivery so the petrol station was closed with queues right out of the car park.

Its the same here in Sheffield. We are not worried about it. We know that deliveries are getting through so we will find somewhere with diesel tomorrow. It will only be a short term situation with the queues, once everyone has filled their cars they don't need anymore for a while!!

I thought that in a few days the queues will go unless people start to be even more stupid and start to fill cans,

I bet it’s because the media are making people panic - it’s all I’ve heard all morning. ‘Don’t panic……but the petrol tankers aren’t getting through…..but don’t panic buy’ I’m sure the media make things so much worse 😡
Have a great holiday….when I think we put our deposit down on the same day as you and we’re still waiting for our van 😏 The same van has gone up so much next year 😳😳the showroom say they’re taking orders. They need to sort out this years orders first 😜

Not been too bad where I live.  Not seen any queues or any closed.

The new price on our van has gone up £12k for next year   

They are still selling them though and it is pushing up the price of used vans. We could sell ours for more than we paid for it in April now!!

I sent my Mrs out to fill the cars earlier she came to work and did a couple of staff cars too. Not panicking about it or anything just being sensible.

Pre covid used to go to the pub Friday after work, some of my staff have started going again in the past few weeks. I can’t go for obvious reasons. Do the office lunches once a month or did pre-covid I should start that again thanks for prompt.

My wife is organising a Christmas lunch and a staff evening I’m paying for but not allowed to go to.
