Yet more lovely photos. I keep thinking of that song now … on the bonnie bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. Used to sing it in primary school 😆

Glad to hear you got there ok and not ran out of fuel yet.

The Loch looks amazing. I’d absolutely love to spend a week up in Scotland, enjoy.

Meant to be bringing the army in to deliver petrol- hope they get to Scotland soon mate. Bet you never thought hgv drivers were going to spoil your hol fml I’m angry on your behalf tbh I’d probably come home if I were you and had the petrol in the tank
  • It will be a low spends day today. Going to attempt to find fuel again but that will be the extent of the spending today.

Breakfast will be a bacon and egg sandwich and tonight we are having rib eye steak with jacket potato, onion rings and garlic mushrooms.

We are heading out into the back of beyond today into Glen Etive. Probably wont have any phone or Internet access our there. It is stunning though, its where they filmed Sky Fall.

Hoping this rain eases up soon!

Not going to let it spoil our holiday. We will find fuel somewhere. Its all part of the adventure. 😀

The van must know there is a shortage, it was unexpectedly economical yesterday and did 30mpg 🤣🤣🤣
  • Glen Etive sounds wonderful. We may get up to Scotland one day but is just so far from Cornwall. Hope you get some fuel.

Lol I can’t believe you’re so chilled about it I’d be !!!!!! beside myself mate.

Have a good day anyhow. My mate is going there apparently with his AM. Lot of AM owners do it to get the photo.
  • The weather has been awful today. Heavy rain pretty much all day. We got down to Glen Etive, the drive down was amazing. But with the weather so rubbish and no chance of walking we have come back out and got a few more miles done so we have a shorter drive to the ferry to Skye tomorrow.

We are now parked at Neptune's Staircase on the Caledonian Canal for the night. We have Internet reception here 🤣🤣🤣

We had breakfast at the Drovers Inn this morning and we found fuel as well. Not the cheapest but we got some. Can go a couple of days before we need to start looking again.
