  • Well done so close now. I know it's tempting to over pay on the card from other budgets but remember they are there for a reason. Could you maybe try sell something or do some surveys to help clear some of it. Then maybe you wouldn't need to raid so much from other categories

Such a shame re dog but as you say nothing else you can do.

Ha feel your pain on card 1 - I’m so tempted to knock my cards to £30k but it’s not worth using the overdraft to do so (also 0% but just offsetting one debt with another). Going to have sales audit this weekend, started quick but has really slowed now - could be just too high.

Tbh we don’t have takeaway but wife does make homemade pizza every once in a while. Might request it once every other Friday - son’s favourite and I like my carbs lol.

Sorry to hear work not coming in for partner hopefully will be fine once corona over though and temporary blip.

The other half managed to escape furlough this week, but a couple of the other lads have been furloughed. Suspect it's only a matter of time before the other half is as well.

It will be a low spend day today. We need to get some fruit and veg from the farm shop. Not much else though. Thinking we might have a takeaway tonight as well if we can get one delivered in reasonable time.

Breakfast is from stores though. Scottish breakfast today with square sausage and Stornoway Black pudding along with scrambled eggs, hash brown, grilled cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, toast and beans.

We have to go and put the heaters in the boat this weekend ready for winter. Apparently this is allowed as it is maintenance and protecting your asset. Wont take long and then on the way home we will take the dog out for a good long walk in the woods before dark.

We fed the dog a big bowl of pasta before the fireworks started last night which worked a treat. The carbs sent him to sleep and he slept straight through the fireworks while we watched a couple of films with a few beers. We will do the same again tonight I think. Not the healthiest meal for him but its only a few nights a year.

Glad to hear partner has escaped furlough.

Nothing to spend money on right now lol. No spend day here.

We have spent £15 at the farm shop this morning on veg and it will be £10 for the chicken takeaway tonight.

That is all we plan to spend this weekend.

I meanwhile have managed to spend quite a bit today without leaving the comfort of my sofa 🤣 Glad OH has escaped furlough for now. Enjoy your takeaway, beer and films, hopefully there won’t be as many fireworks tonight.

We are hoping there will be less fireworks tonight but are going with the pasta technique again.

Going to take him out for a walk shortly before it gets dark. Then hopefully we can convince him to go in the garden before we go to bed. He did last night which is a big step forward.

Ordinarily he won't wee or poo in his own garden (odd dog!) But he did go last night so we hope we can do the same tonight because there is no way he will walk around the block with fireworks going off🤔

He was rescued after living with a couple of cats and he makes a weird noise when he sees a cat. We don't quite know what it means!

He perhaps does think he is a cat 🤣🤣🤣

My dog hates other dogs but she likes cats. I always say she’s an honorary cat 🤣 She’s the same size as our cat too.
