Still waiting for conformation of a date for the garden works.
Today will be a no spends day.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was toast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I think I might have a jacket potato for my lunch and then dinner tonight is air fried jerk chicken with rice and vegetables.
Today's jobs include:- working from home
- a load of washing (I have put this on a wash only and will dry it in the spare bathroom with the extractor fan on)
- cleaning the kitchen
- walking the dog x 2

That's good news that the garden work was cheaper than expected. Hopefully if it stays dry they'll be able to get sooner rather than later. We're still waiting to hear from the greenhouse man but he did say it was dependant on the weather and him getting his ongoing jobs done. Not in a massive rush though so whenever he can get is fine with me.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

Then we will sell the garden boxes to get a bit of money back and the other half can stop whining that the garage is too full3 -
Just heard from the landscapers and they can squeeze our job in on Monday for us which is brilliant.
Means we will be busy this weekend moving the garden boxes from behind the garage ready for the shed base.3 -

Garage too full = nice problem to have. Mine is too empty since ftype gone. 🙁
Hopefully the gardeners will fit you in soon and weather will be ok to build shed over Christmas.2 -

To be fair to the other half there is quite a lot of stuff in the garage that will be better off in the shed then there will be more room in there to get the car in properly and get to the freezer without tripping over stuff.
Looks like we have found a way to keep ourselves occupied during lockdown V2.2 -
Haha know what you mean about the junk in garage - dread to think what’s in the roof of mine. Did you move from a bigger house too?Just bmw stored in mine now had been thinking about having a new door made and fitted to put Range Rover in but would cost a lot of money - garage is a former 1.5 storey coach house but door too low for Range Rover. Not worth getting into more debt for.3

This garage will be big enough once we have got the tool bench, ladders, bikes, etc. out of there and into the shed out of the way.
We could never get my car into our old garage due the angle of the drive and the edge of the door when lifted up. My car hit the garage door before it got into the garage. The Sierra being a lot lower managed to just get under the door. My car can now go in this garage and it fits quite nice when the Sierra isn't hogging it2
