Other than the above it will be a no spends day again today.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • cleaning the bathrooms
    • walking the dog x 2

The new window cleaner has been today so not quite the no spend day I expected.

On the plus side they do a far better job and pay far more attention to detail than the previous company.

It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I have some left over filling from last night's lasagne for my dinner, might have that on a pancake and then tonight we have toad in the hole with parsnip mash and vegetables. I have some nice local sausages to make that with.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • load of washing
    • watering the house plants
    • walking the dog x 2

You do really well with the no spends days, puts me to shame, I think I manage about 8 a month. I love reading what you're having to eat (even though I don't eat meat). You eat really well and it's all good quality stuff, Mr SA would love your meal plan 😁

We didn't realise until I started this diary just how many no spend days we do actually have in a month. Monday to Friday unless there is a bill to pay are usually no spend days. It does highlight just how much we usually spend at the weekend though!

We completely forgot that the dog is at the groomers this Saturday so we won't be beating last weekends low spend total!!

I definitely spend a lot more at the weekend than in the week too. Not really now can’t indulge in my hobby lol.

You probably have even more no spend days as you shouldn’t count paying regular bills or paying off debt as spending. That’s how it works on the challenge thread.

With the pubs shut and the boat out of bounds we are definitely spending a lot less at the weekend :)
