Don't see much point in getting angry about the debt. It is there, we generated it so we will pay it off. Being angry about it won't change anything.
Been out for a long walk with the dog. He is shattered. Just making pumpkin pie now then need to prepare dinner.

Lovely dog! My girl is middle aged and chunky, she prefers a ride in the car and refuses long walks! Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Thanks guys. Hard to believe he is a rescue and we are his fourth owners!
He is a cracking little dog. Very high energy. He is either asleep or 100 miles an hour. There is no in-between. He is impossible to tire out. We had walked about 8 miles when I took that picture and he would have gone around again 🤔2 -
I really really want your dog
How do you contain him on the boat or does he just 'get it' ?

On non tidal waters where it is safe if he falls off he has free roam of the boat while we are moving. But he usually stays with the other half. He is tied on when we are on tidal waters or the sea.
He has fallen in several times but he is clever enough to swim to the back where we can fish him out easily.
We feel very lucky to have stumbled across him and become his new hopefully permanent custodians.5 -

Is there some doubt about you keeping him permanently? I hope not3 -
Absolutely not. We have had him for 2.5 years now and he is not going anywhere. He has found his home now.
It is his "birthday " ( one we chose for him) on Tuesday.
