Sun_Addict said:Your jobs list really does sound like mine today even down to the slow cooker beef (for Mr SA not me). I need to check what wrapping paper/gift tags I have left over from last year. It's a great idea to chip away with small amounts on debt/savings, it's amazing how it soon builds up. Have a good day.
I'm hoping to get rid of that furniture loan sooner rather than later. It is an annoyingly small amount to get rid of and although the payment isn't huge each month I would rather tidy up these odds and ends of payments and put them towards one of the bigger credit card balances.3 -
I usually buy my wrapping paper, tags, cards and crackers in January when they sell them off. I had my leg in plaster from mid-December so missed out on that this year.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Your dog does look like such a character! Do you know how old he is? My golden is very mischievous too.
Is your husband on furlough Thursday?2 -
When we got him we and the vet reckoned he was about 18 months old. So he will be coming up for 4 this month. We designated him a birthday of the 17th November
We are not married! We have been together for 20 years but have never taken the plunge. But no the garage where he works is going to try and stay open through this lock down. A lot depends on if the customers come. If they do and they are busy enough they will stay open if not then all or some of them will go back on furlough. They have had a chat about it amongst themselves and the other half has said that if they are struggling he is happy to go on furlough or short hours. We are in a better position to take the pay decrease in the run up to Christmas than the other lads.

Ha day before my birthday lol. My GRs birthday is 24th October only wife without a birthday within a month here. Not a chance would wife have let me get away with that one lol. Tbh this probably sounds bad I don’t think anything really changed when we got married - piece of paper, but of jewellery and wife became Mrs. We already lived together, shared finances (or lack of lol) etc.
Really hope they stay busy enough. I’ve had the conversation with my staff although things are stupidly busy here right now and not anticipating any furlough some elements could get quieter over lockdown especially if it’s a sustained one. Not convinced Boris is letting us off on 2nd Dec haha.3 -
Not a chance we will be let out again on the 2nd.
To be honest it doesn't really matter to us if the other half is furloughed or not. We have got everything sorted for Christmas already so we wouldn't need to scale back on that at all and he has a few jobs around the house that would be nice to get done before Christmas but probably won't be if he carries on working through. We will just play it by ear I guess.
And I will just be working at home throughout anyway. No change for me there!3 -

To be fair I don't actually mind it. I am gaining a couple of hours a day back by not having to commute into the office and back every day.2 -
Decided to put a load of washing on today as somehow a fair bit had built up again already (how does it do that?) and low and behold the washer dryer has actually dried today.
We are still going to save for a new one though as I doubt this new found ability will last for long2
