Hope you have an amazing time catching up with friends. I’m finding the conversation when catching up with friends whom I haven’t seen in over a year a bit of a non starter.

Me: So what have you been up to for the last year?
Friend: Nothing. Stuck at home with this pandemic. You?
    Me: Yeah, same!

    😳😂

Castleton was brilliant yesterday. We really enjoyed it.

Today will be a no spends day.

We are heading to a lovely spot We know by the River Trent. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Bacon and black pudding sandwich for breakfast, cheese and pickles for lunch and pasta bake with garlic bread for dinner tonight.

Back home today after a couple of days away. Back to reality and work tomorrow.

It will probably be a no spends day today.

Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Full English breakfast and dinner tonight is roast pork with all the trimmings.

We don't have any rush to get back. We will probably mill around here for a while today and take the dog for a walk before the wind and rain set in later.

Sounds like you’ve had a great time. Not long until the next bank holiday 😁

Glad you've had a good few days away in the van.  We came home today rather than waiting until tomorrow as we had first intended as the weather had changed so much - we've had bright weather all the weekend until this morning so decided we might as well come home and get the van sorted out ready to go out again next weekend!  Should then have a couple of weekends at home before going away for just over 3 weeks!

It's a shame the weather has changed so much today. We were lucky this morning, managed to get a decent walk with the dog in the dry and we got the van back in the drive and tanks dealt with before the rain started. Just need to give it a quick wipe out one day in the week ready for the weekend.

The dog is shattered. He is fast asleep in his kitchen bed.

Just prepped dinner for later, got a load of washing in and sat down with a beer.

It's a shame we have to go back to work tomorrow 🤣🤣🤣

It won't be a no spends day today, I need to pop out to the shops at some point today and the dog is at the groomers this afternoon.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores though. It was bacon sandwiches for breakfast, roast pork and cheese toasted sandwich for lunch and dinner tonight is BBQ pork wraps.

    Today's jobs include:
    • Taking the other half to work
    • working from home
    • taking the dog to the groomers
    • picking the other half up from work
My first work job will be running through the hundreds of emails I received over the last week!!
