Looks like a lovely spot. At least you’ve had your run of three now - the van going to the wrong dealership, the mess up with the pick up date and now the wet carpets. That should be it now, time to enjoy.

It won't be a no spends day today. We are heading to the coast for a night.

We had a lovely day and evening here yesterday. Its a shame to leave what is a lovely spot.

Our first night off grid went well. The gas heating is very effective and very quiet. The gas fridge works really well and gets the beer ice cold just how we like it.

The dog has made himself very much at home. He slept like a log last night. Not a peep from him. Mind you we all did. This bed is very comfy.

Today we are heading to the coast to site the van for the first time and check everything works when plugged into 240v.
  • That looks such a lovely place to wake up! Glad everything went well, it's a good idea to fully test the hook up too.  Enjoy the coast, obligatory fish and chips for lunch?

Glad you enjoyed your first day and night in the van.  We always sleep better in the van than we do at home too!  I think it's the fresh air and exercise.

Enjoy your fish and chips.  We're off today for a long weekend later today near the coast about an hour or so away.  It's not on the coast but not too far away, probably about a 20 minute walk away.  Meeting up with friends there from tomorrow.  Should be a good weekend. I love being able to get out and about again and trying to get our as often as we can.

  • Glad all went well, looks lovely. Night off grid and a night at site is great to test it all out. We've just booked a few camping trips over summer (still slumming it in a tent haha!) but just can't wait to get away!

Big congratulations on the van @RelievedSheff 🥂

You don’t waste anytime getting out in it though expected no less. It def looks better out in the wild than up the side of your house. Fml bet you were worried it wouldn’t fit lol hope you’re both good at parking.
