It is a beautiful beach.
The walk down from the car park is OK. But the walk back up the steep hill is a killer especially with a bucket full of rocks and pebbles 🤣🤣🤣1 -
Beach looks amazing. Glad you had a good bank holiday Friday.2

It will be a spends day again today. We need to get some Easter eggs for our nieces and nephews and go and drop them off for them. We also need to go to the farm shop to get some fruit and vegetables for the week.
Breakfast and dinner will be from stores. Bacon and egg sandwich for breakfast and mixed seafood Thai curry for dinner. We will grab some lunch while we are out and about though.
Not sure where we are taking the dog for a walk today yet. But we will find somewhere nice to take him.1 -
That beach looks lovely. We are avoiding the beach thus weekend as it seems like the world and his dog are in Cornwall at the moment so we will be doing a family picnic somewhere quieter. Hope the sun shines in your part of the world. Good luck getting Easter Eggs. All sold out around here but luckily I picked up a few for my granddaughters a few weeks ago. No joy with Easter eggs this morning buy we got the nieces and nephews loads of chocolates and goodies.
Had a lovely couple of hours with the sister in law chatting away in the garden. While we were in Sheffield we decided to visit one of our old favourite walks with the dog. He loved it and was in and out of the water all afternoon.
We called into Burger King on the way home for a bite to eat. We were both a bit peckish.
Just got back home now, hosed the dog off and put some covers over the seedlings in the garden to protect them from the overnight cold temperatures.
Just sat down in the kitchen with a beer.
We have unexpectedly had a couple of leads on a couple of used vans and are awaiting further details on both. One is a 68 plate but has more miles than we would like at 10k miles and has literally just been traded in. It isn't advertised anywhere yet. The other is a 17 plate with 6k miles again just taken in as part exchange.3 -
OOOH the van news sounds exciting. My DD1 and her BF are converting a van into a camper.

The van news is even more exciting now.
We have agreed a deal on the 68 plate van with the dealers. They don't take ownership of it until the 16th April, then they need time to get it to our local branch, time to service it , valet it and prep it and we need to down rate it from 3650kg to 3500kg which is a paperwork exercise but will take a bit of time.
Will probably be 6-8 weeks before we pick it up.
As soon as they get it to our local branch we are going to go down and give it a thorough inspection and make sure everything works as if should.
The other half is in contact with the current owners on a Facebook group which is where we got the lead from. They are sending loads of pictures. It looks like a well maintained and loved van 😀
We are well impressed with the service from the dealers so far. Working over on a bank holiday weekend to broker the deal.3 -

The current owners have no reason to hold anything back though and they say it has been a reliable van with no problems in the 2.5 years they have owned it from new.3
