Do they have demos? If so could get one of those also deals on new can negotiate don’t need to pay list. Possibly something to think about maybe you can pick interior finish of new one idk might be wrong no idea about buying a motor home and don’t want to get into looking into it tbt.
Sometimes they have demonstrators or pre registered vans for sale. But they are not that much cheaper than new to be honest. Usually only a couple of grand and for such a small difference in price we would rather have brand new and be the first owners rather than owner two on the log book.

We will keep looking. Something will crop up when we least expect it.

The holiday refund has come through this morning. Didn't need to chase it after all. So that is another £1225 into the savings account.

Most of that is earmarked for the shed though. We can go shed shopping now :)

Possibly finance will be cheaper rate if brand new too anything like buying a car. Could be worse off if you get the wrong demo. You’re going to have me looking at vans now ha don’t want one just curious about how it works.

And after a year of pandemic,  even shed shopping will be strangely exciting

The washing has dried in no time on the line this morning. So a second load of bedding has gone in. Might as well make the most of the sunshine.

Loads more purple carrot seedlings have popped their heads up. Still nothing from the parsnips, beetroot or chilli's though. If the parsnip's don't show some signs of life by the end of next week it is probably time to give them up as a bad job and sow some fresh seeds!

Parsnips can take ages to germinate.  I used to sow radishes over the top as these would be ready before the parsnips and you get an extra crop out of the same space

    That's a good tip thanks.

The Cayenne and Jalapeño peppers have poked through this morning. Hopefully the Habenero and Rat Turd chillies will not be far behind them.

£50 has gone to the ISA today.

It will be a no spends day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. Breakfast was crumpets, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I have a small piece of fish pie out of the freezer for my lunch and dinner tonight is turkey curry with rice, persian flat bread, vegetable samosa and onion bahji.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • cleaning the windows
    • cleaning the mirrors
    • walking the dog x 2
The boat is finally being picked up from our mooring today. So at some point over the weekend we will head to the marina and get a refund on the remaining electric and hand back our security tags and get the deposit refunded on those as well. There is probably another £60 to come back there.
