Needs to be done. Might take something a bit stronger than a drink to help you to forget having been in Grimsby though lol.

🤣🤣 You two are a bad influence 🤣🤣 Can’t beat a glass of bubbly at some god forsaken hour at the airport. We usually book into the Escape Lounge at EMA. Although we managed to get to Greece in August the lounge was closed 😩
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Ha ha! Grimsby is the pits but the yacht club and moorings are really quite good. Had several good nights in there that started out as just going for a quick pint after the run down the Humber!

@Sun_Addict being a bad influence is the story of my life lol. We book the airport lounge too usually.

@RelievedSheff Sure you could have a good night in Grimsby if doing smack and catching STDs is your thing lol. Possibly not fair but bit of an ongoing joke as I know a couple of guys who invest in Grimsby / Scunthorpe (v low value, high yield - needs to be a f**king high yield tbh with the tenant profile that way haha makes Ashfield, Mansfield and the like's tenants look like professional lets comparatively).

@alt80 we don't stray out of the marina compound in Grimsby. That would be foolish 🤣🤣🤣

Planning on a low spend day today.

Breakfast and lunch will be from stores, full English this morning,  well it is the weekend. We have promised ourselves a takeaway tonight for dinner for making it through the first week back at work in one piece 😆

Need to go to the farm shop for some fruit and veg today and we plan to nip into town this morning to have a wander round the market. Dont think that should take long.

Think we will nip across to the boat this afternoon and get a couple of little jobs done and take the dog for a run on his favourite field.

We had a productive day yesterday and only spent £15 in the process.

Today we are having another low spend day. Breakfast, dinner and lunch from stores. Full English again for breakfast and roast pork and all the trimmings for dinner.

We are going to the local car boot today. We are looking for old advertising bottles and tins for the kitchen but refuse to pay the over inflated prices on the well known auction site. Hoping to grab a few bits but you never know with these places!

Not had a full English in years lol honestly every time I read your diary knowing you don’t live a million miles away I consider making an appearance at your breakfast table haha.

Did you find anything at the car boot sale?

@alt80 No, the car boot was a bit of a let down. Didn't find anything that we wanted for the kitchen although we did get a retro style LED bulb for our anglepoise lamp in the living room.
