They’ll complete on the boat mate 100%. As for Boris I’m the only one hoping he’ll announce we are never allowed in a shop or pub ever again I think.
Son loved the Maccys think he liked going through the drive thru more but have to go in the Range because he’s obsessed with putting in access height for the Maccys windows strange boy ha, enjoyed mine too tbt but def guilty pleasure not gonna lie about that.
100% hear you re food just a battle not worth fighting and I love my food ha. Tbf we have what we fancy weekends so do tend to have fairly extravagant weekend meals. She likes the good food magazine so do have variety weekend / non cutting phase and when I cook I tend to go a bit overboard lol. Couple of my staff obsessed with Pinch of Nom might take a look myself. Girl lost 4st with that book fit as !!!!!! now yeah know that’s just slightly wrong to be saying about staff haha but true.
Wife doesn’t need to lose weight if anything she needs a Maccys or two haha put a bit on - think she’s possibly doing it so I buy her new clothes soon tbh (she keeps complaining her clothes are getting too big). She’s obsessed with hitting 45kg weighs and measures every !!!!!! morning, only half to go at least ha FML. 100 an obsession but won’t keep to that weight after the phase usually 48/50kg so tbh I’m not buying her a whole new wardrobe 100 can’t afford it either lol.

One bonus of getting the p1key waggon. It won't fit through the McDonalds drive through so we never have to subject ourselves too it again1

@RelievedSheff only !!!!!! benefit of driving one of those about mate FML can’t get over £45k on a van with a bed in the back. 😆1

There are a couple of other benefits. Massive beer fridge in the back and we will never have to queue for the loos at the services again1

joedenise said:@alt80 I absolutely agree with @RelievedSheff that you need some variety in your diet. Like her I'd go insane eating the same thing 5 days a week, week in week out! It's ridiculous. I do Slimming World and got to target 10 years ago and have stayed there most of the time and don't think I've ever eaten chicken salad for lunch! This week for example I'm cooking a chicken schnitzel for lunch one day and that is what I'd call "diet food"! I'll a bit of salad with it but I'll also be having home made oven chips!
Things definitely sound that the boat sale will be happening for you. Good luck with find the motorhome you want when the time comes. Will you be able to save some more in your MH fund between now and then or is it just the boat money? The more you can save the less you'll need to borrow of course.
The boat money will provide a fairly hefty chunk of the money we need for the van already. Obviously as you say though the less we have to borrow the better.

You'll need to look at what rate you'd get on a loan for the motorhome. If you use a loan via a dealer it will be very expensive! We've only ever borrowed some money for one MH and we got a 2nd mortgage to pay for it over a 5 year period at a much lower rate; in fact we overpaid and paid it off in 3 years.

@RelievedSheff pay your existing down - that 29.9% card is a shocking rate and I reckon any additional finance for p1key wagon at a lower rate (c.6% max? over a term of ?? months) will work out cheaper than a lesser amount financed but longer with the 30% card. You need to weigh up the additional charge for the amount you can save over the two products. Not sure I'm making sense myself tbh but does in my head though.
Say you can save £1k - what it cost you to borrow additional £1k on the van over the term and what will it cost you to pay for the 30% card over the additional term if you didn't clear the additional £1k? Again makes sense in my head and no I've not been on the sauce ha.
@joedenise nice thought re FA for the van but @RelievedSheff is 85LTV so will not be an option (sorry @RelievedSheff you did post the figures earlier, not meant to be rude just fact and might save you time rather than looking into FA etc).2
