Just rummaging in my purse for 29p - it will look so much tidier lol.
I think your diary will get many references for how to manage a debt repayment plan and live well at the same time.

    :D

It was the first thing that crossed my mind as well. I love a round number.

We do try and find a decent balance between paying down the debt and living. It has obviously been made so much easier during lockdowns when the temptation to spend money just isn't there. Lockdown has made us realise just how much we normally spend on "stuff" when we are out and about at weekends. We do hope that we can reduce that misc spending now that we have seen just how much it amounts too!

£251 paid off the HP Loan today.

It won't be a no spends day today we have a home shopping delivery coming from Asda today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores though. It was cereals for breakfast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I am having soup  and crusty bread for my lunch and dinner tonight is shepherds pie with a root veg mash topping and some vegetables.

    Today's jobs include:
    • working from home
    • cleaning the bathrooms (why did we choose a house with three?!)
    • watering the house plants
    • walking the dog x 2

Good to see totals going down again 😁 I'm also on a bathroom cleaning day today but I only have one. Could do with another one though as three adults versus one bathroom can be a pain at times. It's on the to do list to convert the cupboard under the stairs at some point. Our bedroom does have a little room off it that was obviously destined to be an en-suite but years ago Mr SA put some shelves and rails up in there and it's become my walk-in wardrobe 😆
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

It is handy when we have visitors stay over (when we are allowed of course) that they can have their own bathroom space and the downstairs loo is equally handy. But I really don't appreciate it when I have to clean them all. It really is a thankless task. Although the middle bathroom, the spare one, really doesn't get that dirty, it gets dusty from lack of use more than anything!

We were never really bothered about having an en-suite. But now we have got one I don't think we would be without it.

The total is coming down nicely mate. Was also getting the ocd over that 29p though ha.

Don’t get me started on what lockdown has done for me lol but I think a lot of people have really stepped back thought about how they were living their lives. I’ve had one staff member split from his Mrs (always on cards) and one lose about 4st in weight. Rest been on some slight habit change some for the better, some not.

Just heard from the guy who is buying the boat. Due to transfer limits on his account he is going to start sending money on Monday. Sounds like he wants to send some Monday, some Tuesday and the balance on Wednesday which is fine by us.

Sounds like the sale is definitely going ahead :D

This time next week we should be boat less!
