No. It is staying in a separate account locked away. We are not touching it until we buy the van.

It isn't getting touched at all. If we don't start dipping into it we will be fine.

It will be a no spends day today.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be from stores. It was crumpets for breakfast, the other half has taken his packed lunch to work, I have got a piece of game pie out of the freezer for my lunch, I will have that with some cheese and pickles I think and it is fakeaway Friday tonight. Chicken tikka wraps tonight with homemade raita.

    Todays jobs include:
    • working from home
    • vacuuming the house
    • dusting the house
    • making the tikka marinade and marinating the chicken
    • making raita
    • walking the dog x 2
The other half still doesn't know if he is working next week or not. He will find out today I suppose.

Are they on a rota at OH's workplace or does it depend on what work's coming in? At least it doesn't bother him either way and no doubt he'll have plenty to do at home if he's off.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

It just depends what work is booked in for the week. They all do different types of work and jobs.

He isn't bothered either way. He has plenty to be doing here if he is off.

Where my son works there are quite a few older blokes who always grab any furlough that's going saying let the younger blokes stay at work they need the money more. It really bugs my son as he'd quite like a bit of time off work and he'd only be about £10 a week worse off as he wouldn't have to buy petrol 😆

By the time the fuel is taken account of we are only about £35 a week down when the other half is on furlough. It really doesn't make much difference at all to us. Not like we have got anywhere to go to spend the £35 :D
