I don't keep good records either regarding switching dates/incentives but for this one I just logged in to my Noddle credit report for the opening date of the account for which I knew I had had an incentive.veryintrigued said:Anyone else have all these accounts already but wishing they had made it easier for themselves by making a note when/if they received any switching bonus.

When was the original NatWest offer (the first switching incentive they did)
I no longer have the account and it was a longstanding account too so looking at my cedit file won't help0 -
Yes, the Noddle (now Credit Karma) credit report is a great way to find out about old bank accounts opening/closing dates etc.pfpf said:

Regarding the RBS switch incentive my cousin did the Nat West switch in January 2018 but she has also received a switch incentive from RBS when she switched from Santander. Maybe the crossing checking system is quite loose?1 -
Well, because I fell foul over a security check from Lloyds asking when I opened a certain account (when answer was a 'no' from me!) I now jot down on a sheet of paper what I opened and when - and then just scribble in switch date too. That's how I knew the date .veryintrigued said:Anyone else have all these accounts already but wishing they had made it easier for themselves by making a note when/if they received any switching bonus.

Page is getting rather full with arrows indicating the switch! However not many of those of late.

Since they are quoting October 2017 I think that may the first- or maybe that's RBS?. Normally I am abroad in Sept/Oct so I wouldn't have been able to do it.poshrule_uk said:When was the original NatWest offer (the first switching incentive they did)

I certainly don't remember any NatWest switch offers before because I would have applied. (They had been my bank for many many years and 'diddled' me when a problem arose later- saying if I had still been a customer they would have reimbursed me- their error!) so I have been watching & waiting for a switch gift!

There was a NW £125 switch offer in January 2018 ..... there is a thread on here from 10th Jan 2018 announcing it. I'm not sure if there was one prior to that, but some of the comments seem to suggest they were surprised that NW were doing a switch offer, so it could have been a 1st!poshrule_uk said:When was the original NatWest offer (the first switching incentive they did)

No switch for me.0 -
From the text on the website, im under the impression that they may not pay out until January? Maybe someone has read something different somewhere.

From past experience with NatWest/RBS, they usually pay much closer to the date in the offer than earlier - so it is very likely you won't get paid until Jan. It's probably their way of making sure you don't just take the money and run. It also sneakily delays your eligibility for the next switch incentive by another few months since these offers usually states your eligibility based on the payment date of your last incentive rather than the actual switch date...Tragen said:From the text on the website, im under the impression that they may not pay out until January? A few people have now mentioned they have received the RBS switch incentive even though they also received the incentive from Nat West. Possibly they do not monitor this well or don’t have a system in place?StellaN said:
