The Draft Private Parking Code of Practice (PAS 232) now out for Consultation

I have reported some more and also used the "Report Comment" button as Spam; let's see what good it does. Some of the points made in that section were relevant, possibly made by managing agents or ManCos but the PPCs are shooting themselves in the foot by multiplying the comments as they are diluting the effect whereas ONE well written comment would have sufficed.7

Just shows how scared the parking industry is. The powers have been told about this and it will prove what a dirty grubby industry private parking really is and that includes all who sail in herRalph-y said:PAS section 15 10+ pages of spam .... its getting ridiculous the sheer amount. I hope the complaints are looked into properly and it back fires on the scammersRalph

PAS 15.1 is the same ....... at least it shows what sections they are most worried about. The more I look and see makes me think what an ordinary person would think seeing so much repetition. I am convinced that it would put people off commenting, having to delve through pages of spamRalph

Also 4.1.3 - signage. They really, really, really want to 'audit' those themselves, being experts & all that.

The ATAs seem to have been working overtime in creating template responses for PPCs to (blindly) copy and paste, including spelling errors ....... and they haven't disappointed! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

The only role they will have is to allow PPC's to access the DVLA.
The PPC's should be licensed by the DVLA giving access to data for a £10 fee. Just think how this will help Rishi with his mega debt. Maybe Rishi who approved the new parking bill has missed this cash cow
It's worth £millions Rishi

It's worth £millions Rishi.
If they had to pay £10 per enquiry, that would bring in about £80 million. That's less than £0.1 billion, and when you're Chancellor of the Exchequer, you work in billions, not millions.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.4 -

I think that I inadvertently commented on one statement twice and submitted. I soon as I clicked the submit button I realised and thought that it would reject but it did not.
I wonder then if someone is submitting multiple comments. I would have thought that the system would reject them at some stage as they would be from the same user.

I'm sure they will have a whole range of laptops and if they are working from home, a huge range of IP addresses and then there is free wi-fi all over the place. Oh, and using incognito browsers and when closed the cookie is deleted.Snakes_Belly said:

All in all making it virtually impossible for BSI to detect
The clue for BSI will be the comments that are not in line with what they expect from the motorist.
