While we might not have realised it at the time, things were a lot easier, the most intense cases we were dealing with then were POPLA appeals!
Then real greed set in.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Final runs on the board - 4423.Possibly 400+ contributors?
I wonder how much influence the copy and pastes will have, especially when most are in denial, arguing for the status quo, or even greater powers to be handed to the PPC sector? An attempted circumvention of Sir Greg Knight's Act, I hope the BSI and MHCLG are alive to this! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. This morning the draft Code is still on the BSI site but all the comments have gone.I dont think that the unintelligent blitzing of comments from the PPCs will influence the BSI.It may be quite a long wait to see the result but I'm happy that the worst excesses of the PPcs will be curbed.

I don't think that the PPC posters will have much influence.
The principles of the new Code of Practice will still remain. The comments from forum members were more in form of fine tuning rather than dramatically altering the new CoP. The PPC's were demanding quite substantial changes.
There must be a fear running through the industry that there will be substantial job losses and nobody will give a dam after they have ripped the public off for years.
