I do not think it is necessary, however, as it was quite a simple thing to do, i have done exactly that and 2 mins later sent the £500 back to my other bank account. Safe not sorry.

Pretty sure the 10 purchases already made is sufficient.

It seems not, it looks as though the application process will only work if there is a camera / webcam attached to your device / computer.

That would make the whole process a nonsense, as you could use anyone's photo.  It has to be of you, so it has to be a live capture.

Seeing they use your photo to identify you when you transact in a Metro Branch then using someone else's picture would be a pretty dumb thing to do, because when you went into a branch to do something you wouldn't look like yourself.  😁

Apparently people do. In fact Metro Bank expect a number of them to bring their dogs as well.  🐶

Has anyone received their incentive? I believe that I met the criteria on 26 September and have not received it yet. Not sure if I did something wrong? 

Referred by a relative, account opened on 26 August, switch in completed 15 September, paid £500 in on 26 August and then again on 26 September, made 10+ purchases in store and online in September and October.

Pretty sure if anybody had, they would have posted here. I would think there are many who know they have fulfilled the criteria and are now waiting for the money to drop, myself included.

Just reread the T&C's and I have met all the criteria.

4.1 Within 30 days of meeting all of the conditions in this offer, we will pay £50 into both Current Accounts.

Tomorrow is 30 days of meeting all the criteria for me, so time to raise a query.
