I did it on a laptop and it worked. I waited 2-3 min for them to be accepted.Yorkshire_Pud said:Attempting to apply but stuck at the ID and selfie bit as metro ‘can’t access my device’ so have sent a link to my email so I can use a different device. Which I don’t have. OK I’ll just pop out and buy a new iPhone? Or go to a branch nearest 40 miles away.
I thought my one year old iPad would suffice but seems not.
Any simple way around this? Don’t know why metro can’t access my camera, as other organisations such as Tesco bank can.
Frustrating. Will phone metro tomorrow but at the moment it’s not looking good.
Funny thing is I’m already a metro bank savings account customer for about three years!0 -
Did manage in the end using an old amazon fire tablet.tryin said:

“Deposit £500 in each of the first two months and make ten debit card purchases in that time.“
Means ten dc purchases in each of the first two months, i.e. 20, OR ten dc purchases over the two months?0 -
I read as ten purchases total.1

Me too but when I asked a metro CS advisor whilst registering my debit card he ‘checked’ with someone and the answer was ten purchases per month. I believe they are wrong but as usual the drafters of t&c introduce ambiguity.crumpet_man said:I read as ten purchases total.1 -
10 days since i opened my account and still no pin. Had the card about a week. Anybody else still awaiting the pin. Apparently can't activate the card without it. Don't really need the pin as was just going to do 10 small online purchases.
