Looking at the T&C there is nothing to stop someone earning £300 if your a new member? meet the terms and get £50 for being a new member then refer 5 friends for a further £250?
Also I presume there is nothing to stop you referring people once you have signed up straight away?0 -

That's the plan for most of us on here.

Is the protocol on the referrers board metro thread for a referrer to release up to their five codes by PM and await confirmation from those referred that they have used the code successfully or not then release any unused codes until quota reached?
Otherwise assume there’s a risk of some folks opening accounts using a code that’s already used up its five codes?0 -

It is just the number of £50 given to the referrer that is limited to 5 per year. The referee will get their £50 regardless. It is obviously beneficial to those members referring if all referers update their posts to reflect referrals used.

It would be nice if you got an email once someone had started the process1 -
Attempting to apply but stuck at the ID and selfie bit as metro ‘can’t access my device’ so have sent a link to my email so I can use a different device. Which I don’t have. OK I’ll just pop out and buy a new iPhone? Or go to a branch nearest 40 miles away.
I thought my one year old iPad would suffice but seems not.
Any simple way around this? Don’t know why metro can’t access my camera, as other organisations such as Tesco bank can.
Frustrating. Will phone metro tomorrow but at the moment it’s not looking good.
Funny thing is I’m already a metro bank savings account customer for about three years!0 -
