I've always inferred it as Terminal ... i.e. the machine wherefrom you get your Ticket. :)

If a parking firm refuse (multiple times) to provide the data from the pay&display terminal, as part of a subject access request, is it worth pursuing?

You could try the ICO but they are not refusing to provide your data.  They will, of course, hide behind the GDPR nonsense and claim it is private data but someone's VRM is hardly private, it is on a plate on the front and back of every vehicle (well it should be) and able to be seen by anyone in the public domain or in the car park!
What reason are they giving for failing to provide it?

They state that they have fulfilled their responsibility under the GDPR and that this is ancillary.

Well, the only way to check that out is with the ICO; a parking forum is unlikely to be able to give you authoritative assessment.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Under a SAR only your VRM is classed as personal data ... if they don't have your exact VRM on any logs then they're under no obligation to provide any logs. So I think you're flogging a dead horse there.

Those logs would have to be provided as evidence in court though, so would have to be included with their WS, if you claim that there was a keying error and they wish to prove otherwise. :)

You can instead ask for documents and evidence under 5.2 of the PAP for debt claims.  Read that section as they then have to respond as to why not.

    Hi,

I've just returned home after a ten day business trip and there is a claim form from HM Courts & Tribunals Services.  The claimant is Euro Car Parks Ltd.  I have just spoken to the court via telephone as I was worried that I have lost some time with me not being home.  They informed me that I have one more week left in which to respond.  It has been that long since I looked in to any of this that I've gone quite cold with it all.  Can I check the following please?

After reading through the claim form, I understand that I can download a PDF N9B form, complete it, and email it to claimresponses.CNBC@justice.gov.uk
Because I am not asking for 28 days, I DO NOT need to do the Acknowledgment Of Services form.  My Claim Form/Response Pack is telling me this.

I am a bit confused about the MoneyClaimOnline thing.  What exactly is it's purpose?  The reason I thought it could help me is because I spend the majority of my time working way from home, and cannot receive mail in time.  I am often away for three months at a time.  I already have a Government portal id.  Should I then be using that?

    Thanks
