Nearly 60 - where did that time go?

As I wii have been finished from work 6 months in May, I thought it was time to review how I’m managing. The answer is pretty well. It suits my brain better to take out a monthly salary then save back into all my savings pots, bills, day to day spending. The latest is my monthly salary will be as follows:
Till November 2023 £1395 per month
Age 63 £1410 per month
Age 64. £1420 per month
Age 65 £1440 per month
Age 66. £1455 per month
So more than happy with how things are progressing.1 -
I haven’t got much planned for next week. Main thing on agenda is replanning my clothes. I’ve got two bags to go to charity already with stuff I never wear. I’ve decided to go for a capsule wardrobe rather than just buying things I like as I think it will be more cost effective in the long run.1

You are managing so well and sound very organised. Financially your budget looks good and it makes sense to stick to a salary then pay into pots. This is how my brain works too.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I had an interview this week for something PT, but it wasn’t any good. On the surface, it looked ok as was pretty straightforward admin. Then it came out that if the full time staff had done everything, you would be expected to do a full stint in the factory moving 10kg boxes around. Think he could tell by face I wasn’t impressed 😳.1

Other than that, not much has gone on. We did make an attempt to go round the Eurovision village, but it was too crowded. I’m not a wimp with crowds, but if I’d taken my feet off the floor, I would have been carried along.
Tomorrow I’m out for lunch with sister. Then next week, I’m attending an event at my library where an author is giving a talk. Ticket was only £5 which includes refreshments so a bit of a bargain.1 -
I don’t think I would have liked the crowds either.Sorry to hear the job wasn’t what they advertised. It’s so annoying that they would waste your time like that 😡
Hope you enjoy lunch with your sister and the talk at the library0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Just catching up.
Like the payrises you've worked out for the next few years.
Trips sound great!
The supermarket fresh pasta is quite good, worth a try for special meals.
Hope everything is ok.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
