to be honest its not really rocket science to say once a month, check the lights and levels, maybe kick the tyres. but people dont do these things. then the car is in our work shop with problems. and we say 'when did you last check your oil' answer 'never!'1

Grumpy_chap said:How do services costs at MB and Jaguar compare to service rates at other brands? Maybe the "premium" brands such as MB and Jaguar rates are higher and can cover the video costs, but not all brands.
Back to the point raised by another - "GDPR" a-3 -

This is done before you normally pay ie in your email, inbox. I don't understand and this has been going on for several years - what do you have to counter that??
The vido is about 3 minutes long shows all supension parts, tyres, brakes, exhaust, etc and footage is in HD as it is very clear nice record-5 -

Another said it was the top brands getting the vids but then a poster said their Seat had one
But where does your claim re GDPR come in - a bit like those that talk about 'Human Rights' but when asked whick ones, they have no idea what they are claiming.
FYI - Please look up GDPR and then tell me why we can get these vids.-1 -
sweetsand said:You openly challenged jusdging by your post that it would raise costs so I told your re MB and another Told you re Jaguar - so what happens to your statement re "GDPR" going out of the window as incorrect info.
You clearly implied that that videos would not be allowed becuse of "GDPR" - you comments remind me of those people that talk about the 'human rights' and when challenged by asking the 'which ones' they have no idea.
I stated that complying with GDPR requirements would result in extra administration for the garages and as anyone in business knows (and let me guess, you have been involved in business at some time in your life), administration isn't free, someone has to pay for it.1 -
