We happen to have owed both the most best and worst performing brands in that survey.
I have to say its not wrong, our Tesla is the MOST unreliable car I have ever owned - needing to be towed off our drive earlier this year with suspension failure at less than 3 years old, our Lexus on the other hand hasn't even needed an oil top up in 5 years of ownership.......
HOWEVER interns of how GOOD a car is interns of ownerships experience the Tesla is in a different league from anything I've owned before. It may not be reliable but it does everything else so well frankly I don't care, its the best car I have ever owned by a country mile, I wouldn't swap it for any other car on sale today. The Lexus on the other hand is a bit meeeww, you could replace it tomorrow for any other car and we wouldn't really notice.
There is more to cars than reliability.

This thread brings to mind the saying "Never argue with an idiot, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience" (occasionally).I think I've been on here around 6 years now and in all that time I've put maybe 2 people on ignore. After innumerable posts that are half legible, fully unintelligible, narcissistic, frequently completely wrong and that also look like they have been written by a particularly unintelligent 12 year old I've now added another poster to that short 'ignore' list.3

Wow.
RR is a sub-brand of LR. There are a few different models within the RR "family" ranging from the Evoque to the Autobiography. LR has a couple of modles (Defender and Discovery) badged as LR.
Along with Jag they are all part of JLR which is part of the Tata Group.
Years ago RR was indeed the marquee-model of LR but this was when they only had a couple of models (Defender, Disco, and RR).1 -
On a very wet Bank Holiday Friday, this thread (and one poster) has almost brought tears to my eyes. Huge entertainment value from someone whose spam post has gone up from circa 30 to 342 in only a couple of days. Note to self - 'need to get out'. Should I add a kiss? They do (FACT)... here it is x#2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £3663
