I wonder if Walter Mitty is aware that Land Rover is the owner of Range Rover and they are just wearing a posher badge??
Think so, as sometimes they write Land Rover and sometimes Range Rover.

We weare aware of Landrover woes but the RR is in a class of it's own
Range Rover (assuming that is what the abbreviation RR is used for here) is hardly "in a class of it's own".  Even at list price, a new Range Rover can be had for £36k.  That is no more expensive than many a rep-mobile.
Another one in their haste calls a follow up post
You won't becuse you can't but I will ask anyway. Post the Retail prices of a brand new Range Rover as
    36k pounds as you stated

Free tip - if you had read my earlier posts I told the people here that many people bang on about a Range Rove when in fact the have a Landrover Evoke or whatever you call it or velar etc.

So in front of our mutual mates that won't lol at you, post the RRP of a "Range Rover" as the 36k you stated

As I'm a nice poster I'll save you the red fac blushes, you can't as you are not familiar with high end cars and got the Landrove
Evoke or what ever its called and I'm guessing that is about that price

The class of their I said is our Range Rover, a Landrover Range Rover and not the toy Landrovers like the evoke/etc

toddle pip, thanks for the lol's

Clearly you are like many people and do not recognise a marque like grumpychap.
You claim to have a Mercedes, which is a marque and please correct me if I'm wrong you have a C Class that is the model
Therefore, the class of it own car we have, the flagship, the marque is LANDROVER and the model is a Range Rover...
We've met people when they ask about what car/s we have and OH states "Range Rover"  they confuse like you, grumpy chap and many other the Land Rover Evoke as a Range Rover, it is not and I repeat not a Range Rover unless you don't know what you are talking about.
Thanks for the lol's, both of you

I used to own an E Class.  I now have a Mazda CX-5.  I can afford brand new Mercedes etc, but don't see the point quite frankly.  Why pay a 30% premium that you lose the moment you drive off the forecourt.  I buy at 18 months - 2 years used from main dealer where I have it serviced.  I'm not after bragging rights.  I want to get from A to B in decent comfort, with the space I'd like and need.  Money is better in my bank than in a dealer's.  With the uncertainty of the current atmosphere, it is better to be prudent than extravagant.
    YMMV.

Indeed the marque is Land Rover.  Here is Land Rover's own website which shows the Evoque as a Range Rover:  To the right of the Land Rover badge:  2021 Range Rover Evoque.

You are pulling my leg now that you have been proved wrong again
look at my link below re the Range rover we have, well we have the higher model but anyway - its a Land Rover Range ROVER

and NOT a Land Rover Range Rove EVOKE  - then where does it see Range Rover on the Evoke   - it is not a Range Rover and that is a fact
Please do not emabarass yourself in public if you ever get that funny little Evoke and call it a Range Rover as honestly those in the know will ROFL as the flagship is a Range Rover and not Evoke, Velar, Sport, etc
Final chance - what is the flagship car that Land Rover Make?
    thanks for the lol's, seriously
From the same website you linked, complete with £36,000 price tag.  RANGE ROVER Evoque.
