Thanks @skint_spice unfortunately he didn’t pass, cost me another £360 for a retest and van hire. They did say at first he needed another 8 hours lessons too so was supposed to be £760 but the instructor said he’s up to standard to go straight in for the test so least it’s £400 less than I would have had to pay. Nothing ever ever goes straightforward for us.The key to my survival is having a cry then wipe my eyes and carry on regardless and we’ll get there in the end 🤞🏼He does feel terrible that he’s failed and cost me more money so I think it’ll give him that extra oomph to pay me back ASAP xMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

I'm sorry that DP didn't pass but hopefully next time. If he knows what he did wrong hopefully he will be able to correct that next time. It should be worth it in the end and then he can be earning and pay it backMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Fingers crossed he passes this time, if not he'll have to get some temp work to pay for it himself as that will help him focus!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2

Hi! Well dp new test was today but got cancelled due to the examiner having covid. I don’t know when that’s going to happen now.I went for my interview this morning and didn’t get the job.... BUT the manager from my current hospital alcohol team was on the panel and she really wants me on her team so I do have the job for my hospital I’m at now 🥳🥳🥳 it’s worked out even better for me. I love my hospital and didn’t want to move! I’ll be going up a pay band and finally be a ‘Sister’ rather than staff nurse! I am completely buzzing! Not much to say on the money front other than I’ve got none 🤦🏼♀️ I’ll have some soon though 🤞🏼 XxxMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

Brilliant news about the new job!
Hopefully the Good Luck will keep coming your way, and the next HGV test will come quickly and be a pass. XXI Believe.....
