Hello! Just thought I’d update just because... there’s nothing actually gone on MSE wise. I’ve spent a lot of money but it’s all come to an end now and I should be back to normal winter/ Christmas/ birthday spends and hopefully start paying down the debts that I’ve accrued doing the house. On a positive note I’m not in my overdrafts so I think that’s a bit of a winner!I have just resumed work. Going back on a twilight bank shift tomorrow which is 7pm till 2am... I’ve never done one but I’m looking forward to getting some night pay and also some sleep. My palpitations returned as soon as I spoke to them 😂😂😂 I need to get a grip lol.I am super ready for work though. It’s incredibly boring and stressful at the same time being a mum and housewife 24/7 with no breaks.7 more days to live until payday xMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

Clearing the overdraft is good and means you're getting back on track.
Our jobs have that reaction with a few of us, it's a necessary evil as we all need the money. Try to think of something positive or work on another plan and give yourself a happy focus.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Gorgeous kitchen
Well worth the effort.
As a card carrying wanna-be fashionista with 2 double wardrobes of dresses... I have some wildly expensive dresses but I wear them a lot. I even have a £2000 full length lame dress I bought at a 25% discount - so still ouch but I have worn it loads over the last few years, for every black tie, every wedding. It always looks amazing, its stretchy, hard wearing - non stainable fabric and quite frankly screams 'fabulous'. I have never regretted buying it, I bought it knowing I would always wear it. It is probably down to £40 a wear at least now - but a dress I wear once and would grow out of, I would not spend £350 at so it's great you cancelled that dress. Your daughter seems relaxed about ..DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Morning! Well my life is one step forward and 4 steps back. My payslip went on Friday afternoon. I’m getting wait for it......
£438 for a months pay 😭
ive spoken to payroll and it is wrong and they are being very vague about the extra payment they’re going to make so that should go in tomorrow but will also mess up my October pay too. I don’t know how much I’ll get. I’m just extremely Peed off. There were no benefits at all to going permanent. I haven’t had 0 months decent pay. I’ve been in my overdraft more than not. And I’m just thinking of giving in my notice now. I took the contract for sick pay and I haven’t even had it 😭😭 grrrrr sorry. I’ve been on nights and woke up to call payroll. I just hate this hassle that is my life.Mortgage started August 2020 £69,700
