That's a really positive day, Ftb. How is the job going?

A&E has been manic and stressful lately but I’m actually loving being a ‘real’ A&E staff nurse now.. nothing’s really changed but I just feel a better part of the team! It’s not been good so far financially but 1 week till payday and I’m gonna restart the bank work from next week too. Just a little £100 a week to tide us over for treats and bits. Coming to terms with using the house savings has helped me chill out a little lol. Thanks for asking xMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

Feels good paying in advance doesn't it 😃 the only thing I will say is start saving now ready for next year.
Enjoy your voucher!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Well today isn’t as good. I was just looking on my ESR and happened to notice my bank salary has dropped from £30615 to £24907 too so I emailed HR and payroll etc and finally got a reply saying my monthly salary hasn’t been corrected yet either. I am absolutely fuming.I replied and copied in my line manager saying I’m the only earner with 3 kids and bills to pay and tbf she did get straight back to me saying to come and see her when I’m in on Friday and she’ll try and see what she can do for me.My life is just one step forward and 4 back 🤦🏼♀️ I’ve been playing with numbers and I’m expecting around £1623 rather than the £2092 I should have been getting 😭😭😭😭Mortgage started August 2020 £69,700

It's a good job that you look at your amounts, because I am sure that some people wouldn't and they would get underpaid all of the time. I really hope that they have it sorted by the time you go in on Friday and will give you the difference asap.Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

One of the band 7 sisters I work with has been in her role for well over 2 years and still hasn’t had her pay increase!! She just said she forgets to sort it out. I wish I was well off enough to forget lol! She must be owed in the region of £10,000+
I am very fortunate that I only have a small mortgage in comparison to most and no childcare fees... years ago £1600 would have only covered rent and nursery fees.I’m not one usually to moan and say nurses deserve more and get all political but it’s absolutely soul destroying the amount of physical hard work and mental stress we put up with for absolute peanuts in comparison to a lot of jobs that are in my opinion easier e.g our handymen in the housing association are on more to sit in their vans all day. Or the bin men.. they don’t have the responsibility and accountability that we have. Grrrr sorry just having a little rant! XMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

Reading about your issues reminded me to try and sort mine out. I have received my substantial (around £1,400) pay increase for my substantive job but not the bank work. Email sent today and I have to wait for the reply. You would think that it would change automatically, it's the same work in the same department.
I also found out today that WTD for bank work to cover leave etc is not paid on bank work when you have a full time contract! I think I should of stayed part-time.
I hope yours gets sort asap.Without overpayments: 15 years, 1 monthsBecause of overpayments: 10 years, 10 months left until paid off1 -
Well I got the payslip today and it was baaad... £1100 for the month 🤦🏼♀️ I seriously don’t understand how they think it’s acceptable to f’&k up a persons wages for 2 months and then say we’ll try and rectify it for next month 🤯 they’ve also lowered my bank salary by £5000 too.I just have one of those big dark stress clouds over my head today. All the kids school trips have been cancelled because we’re apparently a high risk covid area. I am sick to death of everything. Everything I do is money money money and I have less and less.I’ve asked for an early bank shift on Sunday but she didn’t reply so I don’t know if I have one or not. I hope you get sorted @Poppycat1 xxMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

Have you been in to see them? If not i would go in asap, even if you dont have a shift and demand they sort it by the end of next week or you will not be able to afford to get to work as you cant afford mortgage, bills, food for your children and petrol for the car on the amount they have paid youMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

I’m in tomorrow so I’ll speak to the line manager then. She knows I’m upset but it’s not really them it’s HR/ Payroll. I think she wants to see me because I said the department has been significantly more stressful the last few weeks so it’ll be more to give me a pep talk about that I think. My anxiety is through the roof now. Hopefully I’ll get home feeling better tomorrow night not worse! XMortgage started August 2020 £69,700
