Thanks @bellevie the kitchens an absolute mess at the minute lol but it’s a fraction of the stress that the bathroom was! Roll on September 😊

It will all be worth it when it's done.
Make sure you're not overdoing it as paid work has to be prioritised to fund everything.
I'm pleased your wages go sorted out.

Yeah @MovingForwards I am exhausted but keeping up with the day job. This is my first weekend off in a long time. Not that Ive done much with it other than kitchen stuff! Ive actually got the next 6 weekends off which is good although I’ll pick up some bank shifts no doubt.

Doesn’t look like the electrician is turning up today. TradesMen really don’t help my anxiety, not one of them are responsive or reliable. Even this one is dp’s best friend. I just like to know where I’m up to so I can organise the next thing on the list 🤯 x

Just caught up on your diary, you've moved forward loads. Glad that they've sorted your pay out, no-one needs that kind of stress.

Hi!!! Not much to report re overpaying! I’ve had a lot go on family wise so no extra shifts worked either so moneys a bit flat at the minute.

I have just made my final payment of the housing benefit overpayment that I’ve been paying on and off since 2018! I am so happy that’s a £10 weekly standing order I cancelled! My ccj officially comes off in 9 days although it’s already come off a couple of the credit reports.

My poor dog is sick. She is acting very strange in manner. Keeps trying to escape. Shaking with a fever/ scared not sure which. Got some doggy ibuprofen off the vet yesterday so I’ll see if that makes any difference. I hope she gets better. She is 10 on Saturday too.

I worked my first night in a long time last night. The shift was nice but the tiredness is torture. I’ve had 3 hours sleep and am ready to drop.

Roll on the end of the month so I can sort out my spreadsheets 🤯🤦🏼‍♀️😊 xxx

Feels like that financial sentence is finally over when the bad CRA data starts to drop off and relief begins to wash over.

    Hope doggy feels better soon.

How's your dog doing? This heat is particularly difficult for older dogs.

She seems much better than the other day to be honest, I grew some lovely flowers in pots in the back garden and we’re thinking that she has been eating at them and they’ve made her ill. I’m keeping a close eye on her now

nothing going on financially. Still waiting on my electrician, got a plasterer lined up for the next 2-3 weeks then it’ll just be painting and the floor to do before September. I’ve decided the floors going in first for the best finish. I’m not planning on changing it in the next 10 years so it’ll stay in place as long as the kitchen does and there isn’t anything under it that we need access to.

Had a terrible time with my family. I’m in that permanent state of headache tummy pains and anxiety again but trying my best to crack on as normal. I don’t know how much more stress my body can take. It feels like I’m gonna have a stroke the amount of pressure in my head and neck.

    I’m doing training from home
today so this is my dinner break. I’m hoping it goes on incentive pay which is £30 an hour! That would be cushy! £210 for sitting in my livingroom! I can dream lol. I’ve got a maths exam in half an hour so I’d better get back to it anyway! Xx

You've got to find a way to de-stress and not take everything one with the family.

Hope your exam went well. Keep thinking of the increased pay and long-term progression prospects.
