It's normal to feel this way, even having a promotion it still triggers a few things off.
Won't OH be around for the delivery or maybe you could swap shifts if need be. Someone will understand, especially if you offer the favour in return when they are stuck.
Try boiled chicken and rice, keep food plain and simple and if no improvement contact your vet. Make sure she's drinking loads of water to replace what she's losing.
It's really good news about your nan!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
I had a brilliant day. I was in one of the busiest areas that I hardly ever get to go in as a bank nurse and they said I’m supernumerary for 2 weeks so to go in resus for the rest of my shifts. I already have the skills and experience it’s just building my confidence now.I’ve just sent in my holiday requests. Made all my requests fall on night rota lol. I said I’m flexible the only week I need is 13th September for kitchen fitting and dd communion. I’ve also got 3 weeks off duty so I’m off the bank holiday weekend which is good. Overall I’m feeling good!Came home to a pasty and a gin off dp. Hopefully the bathroom comes Thursday so I can inspect it myself before accepting delivery. I can’t believe I’ve missed a lovely day. It’s written in the stars that it’s sunny when I’m working!Nothing money wise going on. Do paid £40 into my account so I am just about above my £300 float lol. Let’s see how little I can spend between now and Friday 🤞🏼Thanks for the well wishes over nan. I’m buzzing XxxMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

Hiiiiii.... omg! What a week! The bathroom got delivered Monday. We started by ripping out the tiles Monday, 4 layers floor to ceiling. Then took the ceiling down Tuesday. Plasterer came Wednesday and boarded it and we done plumbing stuff. thursday I was in work and dp decided we might as well remove the kitchen ceiling too whilst the house is filthy so paid someone £100 to pull that down. Today I got light back in my kitchen and I done another long day in work! I think I’ve slept about 10 hours since Monday.I injured my tendons doing all the work so am now in pain and in a splint for 2 weeks. Work has been horrifically busy so I worked despite it being painful and infection control hazard. They paid me £400 for 2 weeks wages, not the pay I’d agreed but bottom of the band as predicted then emergency tax on top... and they didn’t pay me for the bank shift. Apparently it got put in my monthly pay so I’m not really happy and not gonna do more bank shifts until it’s deffo going in weekly pay.
im basically haemorrhaging money at the minute. I haven’t touched the house fund yet but I’ll probably take out £800 tomorrow to cover some of what’s been spent. I’m not in the mood for calculating it tbh but it’s touching £1000 and we’re nowhere near done. I have got about £300 worth of tiles and a stupidly expensive sink to return though. I’m just keeping hold of them to check how much we use first.I think that’s it for my update! Basically skint, living in a mess and exhausted. But it’ll be worth it in the end 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 XxxMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

Please don't overdo it, you must get sufficient rest to cope with work and your OH should be doing a lot while you're out.
What is it with wages this month! Mine was messed up and I'm waiting to hear what they will do to sort it. Hope yours gets sorted out soon. I also thought bank was paid differently to permanent work.
Hope your tendons settle soon.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
You do have your wage agreement in writing, don't you? That stuff is really annoying, and HR/payroll departments never seem to understand what an impact these things have on people. Use the house fund, that's what it's for x.

Aww thanks for the replies. Dp has also been working on the house extremely hard so I can’t complain. It has meant he’s not been able to earn any money himself though which adds to the strain money wise. My wrist feels a little better today at least and most of the dirty/ heavy work is done! Just need to start putting it back together.Work are just a pain in the backside. I did get the new contract in writing so I’ve called hr and they said there’s no reason I shouldn’t have been paid the correct money but they’ll have it amended. It’s just with it being a whole month. There’s some sort of incentive for permanent staff I think there’s a bonus payment for overtime so she’s took the bank shift off and put it at overtime rate in my contracted salary so that in theory I would get more money but it didn’t work out like that with it being £5 an hour less then emergency taxed I basically didn’t get anything 😭😭😭 I need to speak to her and just say I want my extra shifts paid weekly so am happy to work for basic bank rather than the incentive.I need to tidy up a bit for the plasterers to come. They’ve let me down the last 2 days I hope they come now. Then I’m gonna relax whilst they do their thing and shut the door on the bathroom for a couple of days for it to dry.
oh and work up the courage to log on my bank and see the financial situation lol XxxMortgage started August 2020 £69,700

I hope the plasterers turn up and it will feel cleaner once they have done their bit. Sit and relax and I hope when sorting your bank all will become clear what needs to be moved to what account. It sounds like you need your bank work separate or you may as well not have worked at all for those shifts. Very frustrating. Anyway i hope you get to enjoy some down time and the sun shines where you areMe, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Hopefully they will sort it out and ensure it doesn't happen again.
Take a deep breath and log in to your account, face it head on, as the quicker you know, the easier it is to sort out.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
