Kaz, if you do decide to stay with bulb, I have a £50 code.
Morning all. Will achieve as much as I can in the heat today. At least my headache has gone.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.13 -
I’m definitely not built for heat. And some little critter has had a feast on my feet and legs in the night. When I did sleep, I dreamt that we had a bat in the kitchen and I chased it around with a pint glass to catch it. Who knows?! Am terrified of bats and all things flying...
Lots of hugs to you, dancemum xx
Off to paid stuff shortly, with no aircon on in the office, just to be safe. Wm on for DH to unload when it’s done.Keep cool, ladies x10 -
Oh Dancemum, thinking of you.
So tired, weird dreams here too, I was trying to tidy our bedroom which had about 5 non-matching wardrobes all stuffed with kids clothes, tiny shoes and sleep suits etc. I was getting really stressed because I didnt know what to get rid of - what's all that about?
Tough day at the paid stuff, and yet another Zoom meeting tonight. Will do my exercise first even though I dont feel like it. Didnt get LR hoovered yesterday so will do it later.

Every day that we get through is a day less to get through - heat wise - and that is the only thing that is getting me through. If that makes sense. Please feel free to blow rain and storms in this direction - in fact PLEASE blow!!!
Paid stuff for me today - I've got my legs out...it must be hot.
Birds will be fed. Apart from that and paid stuff I'm on the naughty step - in the shade!
Take care lovely ladies

Morning all.
Big thunderstorms all round the vale last night, particularly over towards DS2 and Dizzy-Land (hope all family, dogs, chickens and neighbours are OK) and an amazing light show in every direction, but Rosie was not impressed. She is now catching up with sleep.
So far this morning I have
- made tea and taken his to DH (still in bed)
- watered the pots with my cuppa in my hand
- picked a big handful of French beans (considering I only have a few plants, they're doing really well) and a bigger-than-golfball-but-smaller-than-tennis-ball beetroot (my first for many years
)
- rubbed down what was supposed to be the last bit of filler, only to spot a couple of areas that I had missed
- filled them, hoping it will dry quickly: I am fed up with plaster dust!
- texted my friend S to ask if she'd like to go out somewhere for lunch today
Today I need to
- finish rubbing down and hoovering the study bedroom, then put on another coat of emulsion
- dust all through downstairs and hoover where necessary (I only did it yesterday afternoon)
- do some church paperwork
- make some phonecalls
- order curtain lining and cushion trimmings (still not got round to that)
- pluck up courage to open another current account, recommended by MSE Martin for its high rate of interest (but I'm not switching completely)
- sort out more junk to take to the tip
- walk Rosie (maybe with S)
Hope all the WAC members can stay awake at work!
(((Hugs))) especially for dancemum (PM me if you want to xx), spoons, (match)sticks and more vistual ice lollies all round xx
