Fayolle said:Morning all,
Hairdresser called to see if I was still ok for today’s appointment. We agreed to just have a good cut today, and to decide about colour but not actually do it for a couple of weeks. As she has been cutting and colouring my hair for 30+ years (eek!), she knows it better than anyone, and is dubious about me Going for Grey. We will see how this pans out later....
Heres the pic

Natty, that looks lovely. Take heart, Fayolle! I have never coloured my hair: my half-sister used to have hers all colours, and I hated seeing the dark roots and swore I would never follow her example. I'm now grey/white and very happy with it.
This morning I have
- watered the garden first thing
- picked another 400g of beans (runner and climbing French purple)
- ate breakfast with DH
- filled the DW and wiped down the sides
- got in touch with Blenheim Palace customer services, who were very helpful
- emailed DD and Blenheim with the required info
- rubbed down the alcove wall in the study *again* and put on one coat of white emulsion, using my left hand as much as possible, as my right shoulder was extremely painful last night. I can now see the little bits that need filling and sanding down **yet again**, but it looks much better
- waited in vain for my T00l$tat10n delivery which is still in ParcelForce's depot - they should never have sent it to Coventry!
Rosie is currently asleep behind my chair but will doubtless wake up immediately I go to prepare lunch!
(((Hugs))) spoons sticks and virtual ice lollies to everyone xx

Natty it looks lovely, I am ditching the blonde and trying to find a home auburn colour that I like.
Up at 5.45am. Kitchen finished from yesterday including oven and microwave. Utility room swished, fridge tidied, DW and WM on, LR dusted and DHs month end bills done. Paid stuff 9am to 1.30pm just had lunch and emptied DW. Lots more paid stuff to do, DHs bills to print and send. Flagging a bit now, better get back to the paid stuff.11 -
Natty, it looks fab xWell ladies, I have smashed the slinky challenge in one morning - the amount of hair that has been cut off must make me at least a stone lighter. We have agreed on a gradual change and less of the blonde as a next step, so I can live with that.
Just grabbing a quick lunch, then I really must sort the fridge. Cloakroom and ensuite cleaned earlier, so better than nothing. Just about.11
