Forest school done, walked there and back we are shattered now. Going to sit indoors and do my budget for the rest of the month x

Been trying to register 150 children for our Football Club and honestly think at least half the parents never went to school! Gah! The heat makes me intolerant and grumpy...

Valli, thank you oddly Octopus never came up on the MSE energy club search I did, a load of companies I had never heard of did, most of which had a warning by MSE over caution as new / customer service not known, etc  then Bulb who I was with last time. I'll have a think about it and search Octopus.

Holes filled in, dried, rubbed down, re filled where needed, other wall under coat painted on, also touch up around where various workmen have slightly dinked the walls.

Hoovered up the dust I made

I am being quoted £73 Octopus    £86 bulb per month

I think octopus is going to win. Lets make sure the meters do get changed first.

Slightly less sloth-like today.
Made cake before it got too hot to have the aga on.
Big clean of kitchen while Mr N did bathroom and conservatory. 
Checked bank and paid CC.
Got rid of most of the actions on flagged emails. 
Scheduled Zoom meeting.
Wrote birthday card.
Filled bird feeders. 
Watered greenhouse and baskets.
Had a lovely afternoon and evening with my brother.

WAC, thumping head, just had thunder and lightning and a cursory attempt at rain.
its very hot and sticky so I think I know where to lay the blame for the thumping head. 
Land ten minutes later proper, wetting stuff rain...
DD is thrilled to bits...she's going to housesit for a colleague...who has a rescue 🐶.

WAC - This heat 🥵😂

WAC here too :-(  we had a storm at about 10pm, it lashed down for about 10mins, when it stopped it was still stiflingly hot. We both had 3 showers yesterday, water bill is going to be going up at this rate!

i did manage to hoover through the ground floor yesterday, also did wm x 1 and my dailies. I am trying to keep on top of things as we are away from Friday, it’s so hot though that it’s hard to want to do anything.

Another early start will be made at the paid stuff, I can then take a short break before it gets too hot and whiz through a few house bits... that’s the plan anyway.
